I have had twitter accounts for various inanimate objects since I've been using twitter. Some are experiments, some a little more practical. If i feel I am filling up my timeline with "I am here".. "I am now going there" kinds of tweets then I normally let my transport tweet for me. This takes quite a few status updates out of my main @Documentally timeline and those that find it handy or useful to know where I am can just dip in to the @Bongomentally feed.

All the the Mazda Bongo van's you see on the UK roads are originally from Japan. I have the 4x4 2.5L turbodiesel. The model I have is called the ' Friendee' and is an eight seater MPV with an after market kitchen installed..  Plus some solar panels batteries and other geekery I felt it needed to feel like a home on the road. The fold down seats downstairs make a double bed, and the "Auto Free Top" elevating roof has another bed big enough two.

Where I live can get cut off in the winter so I really wanted a four wheel drive vehicle to keep mobile no matter the weather or location. So far so good. In the past I have been spoilt with the last couple of Land Rovers I have owned but I'm yet to see a biodiesel Land Rover camper van for sale. I am not sure they even exist. That would be the only other vehicle I would think about replacing the Bongo with. And I'd be pretty certain it would not have Air Conditioning, climate control and electric blinds all round. Or featured in Mad Max as the older bongo did.. :)
