The Morning After The Night Before

I am in the Jury's Inn Derby and didn't sleep a wink last night. It was a really late night as the conversations enjoyed at The National Photography Symposium were hard to walk away from.

Great people, conversation and inspiration to be found in all of it.

On the way out to meet my conference associates at the Quad for an evening meal I photographed three guys.

(I did have the photo embedded here but have removed it pending the trial.)

Little did I know that the rooms opposite mine in the hotel would later be a crime scene involving these guys and a girl.

I won't go into too much detail as there is currently a police investigation under way and most of my experience of the events of last night came through sleep deprived and slightly inebriated senses.

A woman was involved, a man has been arrested, forensics are here in force and as I type this I am giving a police statement.

An eventful weekend on many fronts but not what you want to see in a hotel or anywhere for that matter!
